Hey, I already have a follower for the blog. More, please! Tonight, you get the random brain chatter that I discussed would ensue here.
I have found over the past couple of years that I have totally fallen out of favor with American rock rodeo. Too many bands are trying hard to be Pearl Jam and Alice and Chains but not trying hard enough of forging their identity.
At one point in time I had a decent escape. We had XM in the car until a traditional Texas summer day fried the insides of it. But I was able to listen the U-Pop and Ethel and from there, I was able to discover the likes of Maximo Park.
I don't know what it is about this band, but everytime they put something new out I just want to start a rock band; preferably a British one. Good melodies, hooks, and tracks that just make you want to jump out of your seat.
